Founded in 2018, by Bjorn Dunkerbeck and Philippe Bru, the Dunkerbeck Pro Center is committed to bringing enthusiastic windsurfers together with top quality coaching and rentals.
Over the years we’ve tailored our instructing program to fit the needs of everyone. We have a range of hourly or daily coaching from the basic to the most advanced techniques in windsurfing.
The Spot
Many of our clients have heard of Bonaire, but are still amazed by the beauty of the location and its incredible ‘swimming pool’ properties.
For those who don’t know – the windsurfing spot we call home is Lac Bay. It’s on the Eastern coast of Bonaire. The bay itself is protected by a reef which provides super flat water inside the bay and proper ocean waves/swell on the outside.
3/4 of the bay is actually waist deep, making it perfect for learning and more importantly chatting with mates! There is a channel that runs from the opening of the reef, upwind, down to the tip of Sorobon. Here you can also windsurf if you’re confident in the deep water.
